Welcome to the
Canada Centre for Immigrant Women in STEM!
Immigrant women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) represent 52% of Canada’s women-in-STEM workforce. Despite their world-class experience and expertise, this high-potential and powerful talent pool faces the worst outcomes when it comes to unemployment, underemployment, and wage gap in Canada. We believe that improving economic equity for immigrant women in STEM will improve economic outcomes for all women in STEM.
